All inputs and selector positions are normal, and there is no buzzing in the volume. Each vacuum tube lights are also normal.(Please check with the pictures.) Please refrain from turning the power on and off continuously, as this will cause a pop noise. (It may be improved by replacing parts, but we do not know because we have no knowledge about it.) Unlike a transistor amp, this is a vacuum tube amp, so there may be a slight chirping sound when silent. About sound qualityUnlike its flashy appearance, the sound quality is good, and the rough sounding speakers become calm and thick. I dont think you will be bothered by the lack of output power that is common in vacuum tube amps. I have owned this amp for almost two years but not currently using it in my set up, I have two other valve amps. This is the most powerful at 60RMS per channel. Even the 25RMS per channel valve amps are ample power for majority of tower speakers. Amp is in good condition, 240v power supply.
