IT WAS RATED A 4 (1-10) TO INDICATE EARLY BREAKUP . THIS TUBE WAS PURCHASED AT THE GROOVE TUBES FACTORY IN CALIFORNIA WHEN GROOVE TUBES WAS SELLING OFF ITS INVENTORY AFTER THE COMPANY WAS BOUGHT OUT BY THE CHINESE (FENDER) IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED ASIDE FROM BEING PUT INTO MY JACKSON 648 TUBE TESTER. TEST RESULTS: LIFE TEST - PASS SHORTS/ LEAKAGE - PASS OUTPUT- 104% @ 39.5mA (70% is min good) MICROPHONICS- PASS THERE IS NO BOX BECAUSE IT CAME IS A PLASTIC TUBE THAT CONTAINED 4 OF THESE 6550’s. Rogue Audio 88 Magnum Tube Amp with 4 installed Electro-Harmonix KT88EH tubes. - This is the upgraded Magnum model. - Unit recently in for service and both channels play strong/clear. - Tubes have roughly 100 hours on them. - My tech tested all 7 Electro-Harmonix KT88EH tubes and installed best 4 match.
