Adcom GFA-535 2 Channel Power Amplifier - Cleaned & Serviced - Good Condition. This classic Adcom amp was used for several years, then stored in the original box for over 20 years. The original owner passed it on to me, and I had it professionally cleaned and serviced. 60 watts per channel @ 8 ohms, 0.09% THD, with both channels driven full range (20Hz-20kHz). 100 watts per channel @ 4 ohms. Compare that to ratings of todays amplifiers. This compact amp has real power and can handle tough loads (Ive tested it with 4 ohm rated speakers that dip lower). Sounds great--transparent and quiet with no channel noise. The speaker A selector switch failed and since a replacement part could not be found, I had it bypassed. As a result, you can connect one set of speakers (not two as originally designed). Owners manual included. Founded in 2016, The Speaker Port is a small, independently owned/operated business based in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. I started out in repairing/restoring vintage audio speakers and stereo systems but within the first year, took on both home and professional grade systems (PA systems, guitar amps, etc). I work on all components types (receivers, turntables, tape decks, power amps, etc.), makes and models. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering but spent the better part of my 22 year professional career in Information Technology. Through it all was a deep love for music and music reproduction. Pricing If you have ever sold anything on eBay, you know that for everything you sell, eBay takes a very steep cut from you sale. EBay also takes money from the cost of shipping too. Amp is in used condition. No damage but signs of use. Ran it last night at a good volume for over an hour. The amp worked as it should w no noise or excessive heat. One handy feature of this amp is it has two sets of speaker outputs

Needs repair. Only left channel working. Right channel does not work. Item has scratches, dents, and marks. For parts or repair only.

Adcom GFA-535 2 Channel Power Amplifier. Both Channels Checked For DC On Outputs Clean working condition verified. No evidence it came from a smokers home. I am NOT the original owner and cannot shed any further light on this units history. But each channel was checked for DC offset on the outputs. This 535 passed that test with flying colors measuring less than 15 mv (i.e., less than 100 mv is whats desirable). Acquired as part of a large lot of audio gear numbering over 100 pieces!
