Adcom GTP-502 does not power on. It did at the estate sale but it has lost power during the time it took me to list it. Adcom GTP-400 powers on but I have not tested it. It probably has issues as well. They have signs of wear as well on the bodies. Sold as is, for parts / repair.

A Beautiful Adcom GTP-502 Stereo Tuner/Preamplifier in Excellent Condition with the Original Factory Remote (Not some aftermarket remote). I have tested all preamp functions and they work and sound great, including the Lab Outputs which bypass the output coupling capacitors to pass all signals from DC on up for the most accurate sound. I live in a ravine in a rural area, so my radio reception is not very great. However, with a simple dipole antenna connected, I received a half dozen good stations with a strong signal indication and a stereo light (as you can see in the third picture) so I believe the FM Stereo function seems OK. The seek function also seems OK. The AM seems to work fine except that the display shows 1 KHZ more than the actual station frequency. For example, If I tune it to 620 AM, the station comes in fine, but the display shows 621. Hopefully this is a simple adjustment. So the tuner may need tweaking on AM and you may want to double check the FM alignment while you are at it. This is the version with the removeable, 3 conductor, grounded power cord and it will be included along with a copy of the Owners and Service Manuals.
