Audio Research ARC SP-16 Tube preamplifier W Remote. I purchased this tube preamplifier about two months ago, and it was only used for a few hours in my system. This preamplifier does have a tube phono section as well as a tube line level section. The tubes in the photo section are the stock electro harmonix 12ax7’s. I did swap the tubes in the line level section to some used NOS,RCA Tubes. Two of those tubes are 12ax7’s and one is a 5751. I would describe the sound as extremely clean and pristine. But I wouldn’t describe the sound is overly tube like. I would rate the condition at a 7/10. A few minor scratches is all. No returns and shipping to the US continental only!
