On offer is an authentic Audio-Technica ATN150mlx stylus for AT150mlx cartridges and also fits other AT cart bodies. I am the original owner and this stylus has approximately 500 hours on it. I have only played professionally cleaned records with it and always strongest VG+ or better conditions. There is plenty of life left for your listening enjoyment.

This listing is for very gently used Audio-Technica AT-150MLX moving magnet phonograph cartridge. The stylus is a square-shank nude-mounted Microline type affixed to a gold-plated boron cantilever. The recommended V.T.F of 0.75-1.75 grams. The VTF upper limit of 1.75 grams must never be exceeded. This stylus is very compliant and exceedingly fragile. It easily tracks level six of the Shure V-15-V test record at 1.25 grams. The tip geometry is exquisite, as revealed by microscopic inspection with my binocular microscope. When I compare it to other similar Microline specimens, the wear appears to be about 25% or 150 hours. Therefore, there are many hours of play remaining. I try to deliberately overestimate the wear to prevent any misunderstandings. There is no suspension fatigue up to the rated VTF of 1.75 grams, but at just 1.0 grams VTF this cartridge will not mis-track on any pressings in my collection. I should remind the perspective buyer that this stylus is absolutely NOT designed for use in inexpensive turntables with inferior tonearms, or for any DJ application. The ideal tracking force is 1.0 to 1.25 grams in a premium tonearm with vertical and horizontal gimbal-mounted bearings and the appropriate anti-skate compensation.
