I was really surprised to learn it was from the 70s as I think the design is timeless!Tested originally and it had the slow RPM issue so I paid to have it fully serviced and fixed by a specialist and is now fully working! Stylus present is the SP14 as pictured which is worth a fair bit on its own. It has been packaged by the service specialist so the arm is isolated the whole thing is wrapped in three layers of large bubble wrap and then surrounded by packing peanuts Postage will be via special delivery I do have a 5 din to phono + earth cable somewhere if you need please just let me know. One elderly owner from brand new. Was in storage for many years until he went into a nursing home and his house (and B&O collection) was sold. All ready for a new owner to restore and enjoy it. Type Number : 5237 Serial Number : 122460 Condition : In absolutely lovely condition and definitely worth saving. B&O record decks are going up in value on a monthly basis now, so for the right person this is a cheap deck or a money maker! Our engineer has a 3 month wait and charges a flat inspection fee plus time, so this really isnt worth us bothering with - and its here to be cleared! Comes with a UK power lead inbuilt but it will need a new DIN plug end fitting as someone has removed the original. Functionality : Lights up absolutely fine. No nasty smells or noises - but it just doesnt spin around. Upon looking it doesnt actually look to have the drive belt present? That could certainly contribute to it not turning.. As we cant get it to play, we dont know if the stylus is functional, but it looks straight and undamaged. Sold as seen, nice and cheap - no returns. Extras : Will come with a UK Power Lead.
