Consequently, the higher the ETM value, the higher the force required for a given constant acceleration. Obviously, more force results in more wear. Three elements contribute to ETM. The stylus tip (diamond) contributes with its entire weight and mass. The armature contributes between 5 - 20% of its weight and mass; the cantilever around 30%. B&O has been able to reduce ETM substantially by refining these elements and building them into an integrated unit. Here is what I know. 1.The turntable spins and changes speed and I am told it works and i dont see why it wouldnt but would need a stylus to test. 2.I have plugged in but no lights come up on the radio functions so Im not sure if it works. 3.The front buttons are quite sticky and dont pop straight out. 4.Lid is good - no cracks 5.It comes with original polystyrene padding for turntable and tone arm plus original manual. 6.Will be securely packaged and insured for delivery. Hopefully it works or is an easy fix ,otherwise lots of good spares.

This auction includes an original vintage Bang & Olufsen (B&O) model MMC 20E stereo turntable cartridge and stylus in very clean and excellent working condition. This cartridge was originally purchased as a backup however, it was never used except for testing it for this listing. This cartridge tracks perfectly and sounds great. This cartridge comes as shown in the photos. Own this vintage B&O MMC-20E turntable cartridge for a great price. Bang & Olufsen Beocenter 2800 hi-fi system - with MMC 20 S stylus + 4 B&O speakers A true classic of a hi-fi system!! I bought this second hand 8 years ago and it had just had a new turntable belt - it has not seen a huge amount of use, perhaps an hour or two each month. I play old vinyl and newer heavy vinyl and both play ok but the right hand channel sometimes drops out - I’m not sure how much is down to the quality of some of my vinyl or down to the stylus. This does not happen when playing from my phone via the tape input so that tells me the amplifier is ok. 50 watt amplifier (2 x 25). Dual output so 4 speakers can be connected (4 x 12.5) and individually selected as each pair or both pairs. Volume, bass, treble, balance all working. The FM tuner works - the rear antenna socket is loose but still functional. Phone / MP3 music can be connected via the “tape” - I play from my iPhone and it works great, see pics. I will include the cable for this. 2 x S60 watt speakers - fully functional. 2 x S75 watt speakers - fully functional. Speakers 590mm (H) x 320mm (W) x 230mm (D) - either vertical or horizontal mount. Speaker S60 or S75 badge rotates to suit how speaker is orientated. All speaker cables included. Overall in good presentable condition. No signs of any damage. This is a 40-50 year old iconic hi-fi brand, I am only selling as we plan to move and I need a system with smaller speakers.
