Bang & Olufsen Vintage Receiver & Stereo Amplifier Beomaster 900M Teak GREAT ======== International buyers welcome ! ======== B&O Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 900M Selling out of a private collection: Early danish design stereo receiver by Henning Moldenhawer 1964.Classic vintage receiver from danish Bang & Olufsen in beautiful teak cabinet.Widely known for its edge-lit dial where only the lettering lights up - not the entire dial.Where most FM tuners at the time were limited to 100 or maybe 104MHz, the Beomaster 900M covers the full range 88-108 MHz.Fully transistorized using germanium semiconductors. It has inputs for antennas, turntable and tape (or CD/Phone etc.), outputs for speakers. This unit is the M-model, and the sound is very warm, pleasant and powerful, considering its age and size. You can listen to it for hours without feeling it wearing on the ears. This receiver has 2 separate dials, one for FM and one for AM. Both adjusted using the same knob but automatically switched between when changing bands. This means that you wont lose a tuned-in FM station when switching to - or even tuning in on - an AM station or vice versa. Stereo was hot news back then and this Beomaster actually HAS the stereo decoder installed! It was an optional extra offered for owners living in areas with stereo broadcasts (and for those who could afford it). Appearance:The general appearance of this Beomaster is extremely nice!Probably as nice as I believe a 50+ year old radio could be.The cabinet is veneered in beautiful real wood. Recently cleaned and oiled to a rich and lovely silky shine.I can spot only microscopic marks of wear and age, and a few somewhat darker areas on top (see photos).Very little fingerwear on buttons.Really beautiful. This Beomaster has been part of a private B&O collection for years and would probably be of interest not only to collectors and design museums but also people caring about what to put in their homes. It would be a perfect fit for any 60s style decor or a classy study or bedroom. This is not just a radio - its also a classic piece of design furniture that you do not have to hide away when not in use - actually that would be a shame. From a time when things were built and tested by humans. All photos are of the actual Beomaster, take a look and agree that this is indeed a little beauty. Technically:This Beomaster was recently serviced and has been tested for hours prior to auctioning.Dial lamps are new.Even the rubber feet are new!All functions and lights work exactly as they should.Nice sound, lots of stations and volume on FM and even if I live in a very quiet AM area I was still able to tune in stations on the AM wavebands, and that even using only the built-in antennas.Accepts 220-240V 50/60Hz. A small voltage converter would be required to operate in 110-120V areas. This Beomaster has the optional stereo decoder installed. This is a fully functional collectors piece. If you are looking for a nice and well functional classic stereo receiver from a time when things were quality hand-builds, this is definitely one to consider! This is quality vintage goods with some weight. Disclaimer:I am not the worst guy you could deal with and you can rest assured that I will be here to help out in case of troubles, doubts or concerns.Constructive dialogue solves a lot.I collect positive feedback and I have many repeat buyers, but for this game to go well some rules are necessary:This is a private sale. I am selling private property.I dont represent a shop, store or company and I am not able to provide any guarantees or warranties.By placing a bid you accept the conditions of the sale and the condition of the item as presented by the description and photos. The item is sold as-is and all responsibilities are on the winning bidder.Of course, this doesnt mean that the item doesnt work. The item description and the item photo(s) states the condition of the item as shipped.I describe items to the best of my knowledge and capabilities.I always pack carefully, but the major part of the actual shipping is done by the courier, completely out of my hands and control. As already mentioned, I will do whatever I can to help you, but we mustnt forget, that international postal regulations are that the buyer must contact his/her local distributor in case of transport damages, and I strongly recommend that you dont accept a damaged looking shipment. Please check my feedback for references regarding my honesty and integrity.Payment methods accepted are: Cash in person, Wire/Banktransfer, Paypal. Please check-out the photos and my feedback and bid with confidence. All questions welcome.Let the game begin...

======== International buyers welcome ! ======== B&O Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 900K Selling out of a private collection: Danish design receiver by Henning Moldenhawer 1964.Classic vintage receiver from danish Bang & Olufsen in beautiful untreated light oak cabinet.Widely known for its edge-lit dial where only the lettering lights up - not the entire dial. The design broke away from what was tradition back then. Up until then a radio was a fairly high and large piece of furniture with more or less rounded corners, a dial with round knobs and piano type keys with the speaker cloth above, all framed in wood. The thoughts behind Beomaster 900K were completely new and different; With its low profile, square and modern design and no serious need for ventilation, it would fit in everywhere and easily make room designs much smarter.Henning Moldenhawer extended the use of the radios front all the way to reach both sides and put the speakers at each end in perfect match with the rest of the front face. A slim-line receiver which also was completely new inside; Fully transistorized using germanium semiconductors. No valves (tubes) meant no warm-up period but instant sound when it was turned on - and it was prepared for the stereo signals soon to fill the airwaves. The speakers were of the pressure-chamber type (in 1964 !) which gave the best sound possible and still took up only little space.Where most FM tuners at the time were limited to 100 or maybe 104MHz, the Beomaster 900K covered the full range 88-108 MHz. All in all, it was rather unusual for its time and it turned heads everywhere - and still does today. It has inputs for antennas, turntable and tape (or CD), outputs for 2 (alternative or extra) speakers. This unit is the K-model with built-in speakers and the sound is very warm, pleasant and powerful, considering its age and size. You can listen to it for hours without it being wearing on the ears. The built-in speakers are absolutely worth listening to and if you connect external speakers youll experience what made B&O world-famous already in the 60s.Furthermore; this unit has 2 separate dials, one for FM and one for AM. Both adjusted using the same knob but automatically switched between when changing band. This means that you wont lose a tuned-in FM station when switching to - and tuning in on an AM station or vice versa. Stereo was hot news back then and this Beomaster actually HAS the stereo decoder installed! The stereo decoder was an optional extra offered for owners living in areas with stereo broadcasts (and for those who could afford it). Appearance:The general appearance of this Beomaster is extremely nice!Probably as nice as I believe a 50+ year old radio could be.Cabinet is veneered in beautiful real teak.It has a nice silky shine and, even looking very close, only very tiny marks of age and wear can be seen.I can spot a very tiny imperfection to the dial, near the right end of the grey memory-bar. Not a lot after all these years and part of its history. It is really beautiful. This Beomaster has been part of a personal B&O collection for years and would probably be of interest not only to collectors and design museums but also people caring about what to put in their homes. It would be a perfect fit for any 60s style decor or a classy study or bedroom. This is not just a radio - its also a classic piece of design furniture that you do not have to hide away when not in use - actually that would be a shame. From a time when things were built and tested by humans. It actually still has the original quality control sticker from Danish Furniture Makers on the side (see photos). All photos are of the actual Beomaster, take a look and agree that this is indeed a little beauty. Technically:This Beomaster was recently serviced and has been tested for hours prior to auctioning.Dial lamps are new.Even the rubber feet are new!All functions and lights work exactly as they should.Nice sound, lots of stations and volume on FM and even if I live in a very quiet AM area I was still able to tune in a few stations on the AM wavebands, and that even using only the built-in antennas. The optional stereo decoder has been built in and of course it works wonderfully, just like everything else with this Beomaster, though the decoder, being one of the first of its kind, requires a fairly good antenna signal to fully eliminate a slight background hiss when playing stereo.Accepts mains voltages 220-240V 50/60Hz. A simple step-up transformer would be needed for use in 110-120V areas (not included). This is a fully functional collectors piece. If you are looking for a nice and well functioning classic stereo receiver from a time when things were quality hand-builds, this is definitely the one to grab! This is quality vintage goods with some weight, shipping weight is estimated at 12Kgs (30 lbs). ======== International buyers welcome ! ======B&O Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 1900.62 x 6½ x 25cm 8Kg Selling out from a large private collection: The world-famous danish designer Jacob Jensen received several international prices and awards for his outstanding designs. He designed a stereo receiver called Beomaster 1900 back in the late 70s and for obvious reasons it stunned the world.Today, its probably one of the most classic B&O units ever. And this is the original version. - Not a 1900-2, not a 2400, not a 2400-2. Appearance:The general appearance is great. All lettering is present.I can spot only a few hairline marks to the surfaces. The wood finish is lovely rosewood, all original with only very few marks of wear. All photos are of the actual item. Technical:Absolutely superb !Completely serviced prior to auctioning, had a lot of capacitors and some trimmers replaced, had a thorough service and adjustment of amplifier sections etc.Even the rubber feet are new! Tested for hours prior to auctioning. All functions work and all controls have a good response. All primary functions, choice of sound-source (FM1-5 / Tape / phono, volume setting and stand-by) are sensitouch fields. No pressure required, just lay your finger on the required pad.It was really something back in the late 70s and still today very attractive and special.Opening the large alu-lid reveals all secondary controls, sliders for bass/treble/balance, controls for AFC, LOUDNESS and MONO, the FM presets and the control for choice of volume setting at power-up (no matter how high or low you played when you turned the unit off it will always power up at a fixed user setting, no loud surprises - very clever !). Push the lid gently and it closes slowly. With a height of only 6½ cm (apprx 2½ inch), wall mounting the unit would be stylish and of course the clever guys at B&O thought of this and put 2 holes underneath for this purpose.Inputs for antenna, turntable and Tape (or CD) with outputs for 4 speakers and headphones.Accepts all worldwide voltages 110-240V 50/60Hz, currently set to operate at 220V but easily switched by means of a control underneath the receiver, no special tools required. Bang & Olufsen Vintage Receiver & Stereo Amplifier Beomaster 900M GREAT ======== International buyers welcome ! ======== B&O Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 900M Selling out of a private collection: Early danish design stereo receiver by Henning Moldenhawer 1964.Classic vintage receiver from danish Bang & Olufsen in beautiful veneered cabinet.Widely known for its edge-lit dial where only the lettering lights up - not the entire dial.Where most FM tuners at the time were limited to 100 or maybe 104MHz, the Beomaster 900M covers the full range 88-108 MHz.Fully transistorized using germanium semiconductors. Recently cleaned and oiled to a rich and lovely silky shine.I can spot only microscopic marks of wear and age (see photos). It doesnt even have the usual fingerwear on buttons.Really beautiful. - It actually still has the original quality control sticker from Danish Furniture Makers on the side! Located in Denmark, will ship worldwide. BANG OLUFSEN BEOMASTER 900 ALL TRANSISTOR STEREO. I am selling under parts as there is a lot of ports on the back I cannot test, but it does power on and I can get radio stations in the UK, other than that is is untested, cosmetically it is not in the best of condition with stains and age I have managed to test the 3 speaker ports on the back and they work fine
