Bose 601 Series III Excellent Condition 1986. Yes, those. Made in 1986. I purchased these on the bay in approximately 2005, from the original owner. The surrounds, afaik, are the original foam, and showing no signs of rot / cracking. I cleaned / conditioned the veneer about 3 years ago. All things considered, its difficult to find a pair of 601s right now, that look this good. They are almost 40 years old, so they have some blemishes typical of a vintage speaker. However, they are very few, all things considered. They have always sat in my living room, until about a year ago. I own instruments, so they have always lived in a humidity controlled environment. I do not have the boxes. They sound fantastic, enormous. Everything is in perfect working order, all tweeters and woofers, no punched in caps, etc. Everything is original including the grille material. I always look around auctions for these, and I must say, this is one of the better pairs of 601s out there. Check out the pics! Local pickup only.

Bose 601 IV Reflecting Stereo Floor Speaker Pair Slightly Damaged, Sound Great. These were damaged in moving as photographed there is 1 front grill missing as well but my loss is your gain. All the drivers are working properly as a speakers are working properly as well you wont be disappointed and you will save money and still get great sound. And I do believe these are the last 601s in production Im not sure as to what configuration Bose is using now

Great pair of Bose speakers. Tested and sound great. Some minor edge and cosmetic wear but nothing major. Grills on front and back. One is missing one peg, but is still secure. Great for any home or system addition!
