Pioneer PL-1250 Direct Drive Player System DJ Turntable Record Confirmed to workDescriptionAbout This ItemsAs you can see in the pictures, there are some scratches and stains due to the age of the product, but the operation has been checked.Included is a spare cartridge (without needle)Record player with optical pulse detection frequency control system.A brushless DC servo DD motor with excellent load characteristics is used as the drive motor. In order to maintain the rotation of this motor continuously at a constant speed, a photoelectric pulse detection frequency control system that combines a light-emitting diode and a phototransistor is used for the rotation speed detection part. This method detects the rotation speed in pulses and automatically controls the motor to maintain the correct rotation speed based on changes in the frequency.The turntable section uses turntables and bearings that have been carefully polished by an automatic precision machine to obtain high characteristics.The tone arm uses a newly designed S-shaped pipe arm.This arm uses high-precision angular contact bearings in the horizontal and vertical rotating parts to reduce friction and achieve high sensitivity. The angular contact bearings also improve durability and eliminate abnormal resonance caused by rattling of the support.An anti-skating mechanism is provided to cancel out inside force. This mechanism is a method in which the needle pressure scale value directly indicates the anti-skating bias value.It also has an arm height adjustment mechanism that allows the vertical tracking angle of the cartridge to be adjusted to an appropriate value. In addition, it is equipped with a lateral balancer to maintain the horizontal balance of the arm and an oil-dump type arm elevation mechanism.The PC-330 MM type cartridge is used.This cartridge is a lightweight cartridge with an effective mass of 0.6mg of the vibration system, and is composed of a light alloy pipe cantilever with an outer diameter of 0.5mm and a wall thickness of 40 microns combined with a 0.5mil bonded diamond needle.A low capacitance type (40pF or less/1m) is used for the output cord to prevent deterioration of ultra-high frequency characteristics.Equipped with a strobe light for speed fine-tuning, which can be adjusted within a range of ±2% while viewing the stroboscope.Two headshell stands are equipped.A free-stop acrylic hood with flexible opening and closing angles is employed.The turntable seat is made of 30mm-thick polyether foam compressed and pressed.It has a low static charge and a short discharge time, making it difficult for dust to adhere to it.The cabinet is made of a combination of high-density multi-layer hard plywood and is effectively reinforced while measuring resonance modes in further detail.
