Ich biete hier eine sorgfältig abgestimmte Kopfhörer-Kette aus Kopfhörer, KH-Verstärker und KH-Kabel an, das die Qualität des mitgelieferten Kabels deutlich übersteigt. Test bei Kopfhörer.de: Der Audeze LCD-2 Classic ist ein tolles Gesamtpaket für unter 900 € für Anwender, die sich musikalisch in aktueller Musik wiederfinden – denn dann profitiert man besonders von der Abstimmung des Kopfhörers. Die präsente, dynamische und trotzdem entspannte Reproduktion der Treiber gefällt mir beim reinen Musikhören am besten. Da der Kopfhörer zudem ausgesprochen bequem sitzt, würde ich ihn am liebsten meiner kleinen Sammlung hinzufügen – auch weil die Hörsessions wie von Geisterhand regelmäßig ausuferten. Audeze Deckard KH-Verstärker: Den habe ich schon eine Weile. Gebaut wie ein Panzer, passt super zu Audeze Hörern. Hatte einen Preis von 829€. Test bei fairaudio: Die gute Kontrolle über den Bassbereich des EL-8 sorgt für eine klare und detailreiche Darstellung im unteren Frequenzbereich. Eine leichte Wärme im Mitteltonbereich ergänzt gerade den geschlossenen EL-8 sehr gut und sorgt für eine klare und differenzierte Stimmwiedergabe. Auch kleinere Hintergrundnuancen werden aufzeigt. Im Hochtonbereich geht der Deckard im Zusammenspiel mit dem EL-8 mit hohem Detailreichtum und neutraler Wiedergabe ohne Frequenzspitzen ans Werk. Sehr geringes Grundrauschen sorgt für einen schwarzen Hintergrund. Dank ausreichend dimensionierter Stromversorgung hatte er stets ausreichend Kontrolle über den EL-8. Der eingebaute USB-DAC bietet sehr hohe Auflösung und gute Räumlichkeit, und zeichnet den Deckard so als mögliche Desktoplösung aus. Er zeichnet sich äußerlich durch ein modernes, minimalistisches Design ohne verspielte Details aus Der dreistufige Gainschalter sorgt für einen sehr guten Regelbereich der Lautstärke an jeder Quelle. Bei fairaudio wurde er zusammen mit dem Audeze EL-8 getestet, die Ergebnisse sind aber auch genau so auf den LCD übertragbar, der von der Qualität noch höher einzuschätzen ist als der EL-8. Ich hatte den Deckard über USB mit meinem Innuos Server angeschlossen, das kann ich sehr empfehlen! Der USB-DAC ist in der Tat ganz hervorragend. WhyWires Red Headphone Cable 3 Meter: Der eigentliche Star der Show. Den Tip mit dem WhyWires Kabel hatte ich mal in einem HiFi Laden bekommen und ausprobiert - erheblich besser als das mitgelieferte Standardkabel! Die Bühne wird breiter, der Bass besser konturiert, es ist wirklich das sprichwörtliche Quentchen „mehr Luft“ um die Instrumente herum - eine klare Empfehlung! Hatte einen Preis von 580€. Test auf Head-Fi: The WyWires Red headphone cable made a positive difference in my sound. The most noticeable improvement was with the soundstage. Soundstaging is not a strong suit of the LCD3 but this cable expands the stage to widths and especially depths that I have yet to experience from my setup. I am now hearing palpable images defined within the soundstage. With the Toxic SW, I heard decent width and music appeared across that width with good separation but without the sense of belonging to an individual musician. It seems the WyWires cable is providing a blacker background and more information to supply these room definition and instrument placement cues. The bass on the WyWires goes deep, has weight and does not encroach upon the midrange. Notes are very well defined, whole and round. In comparison, the Toxic SW sounds slightly woolier spreading into the lower mids. Bass notes on the WyWires are more distinct with no less weight or intensity. Mids on both cables are just beautiful. With the WyWires, however, I am hearing more nuance in voices. I find myself listening move closely to female vocalists paying more attention to the character of their voices. I am hearing qualitative differences I haven't noticed before - there is just more information there. Highs on the WyWires are significantly more extended than the SW's. They are equally sweet with absolutely no grain, etch or glare. I am extremely sensitive to these artifacts and find them in neither cable. With the WyWires, however, I am hearing more detail in the uppermost range. This probably helps create the soundstage and imaging benefits I mentioned above. Insgesamt spielt diese Kette außerordentlich stimmig zusammen, das reicht eigentlich für die allermeisten Ansprüche! Ich habe mir jetzt aber einen Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition gegönnt, und Kopfhörer habe ich ohnehin genug… Was natürlich nicht fehlen darf: Da Privatverkauf, keine Rücknahme und keine Garantie.

This listing is for my Audeze Deckard headphone amplifier and DAC. It is in good, fully operational condition with some minor signs of usage such as marks and scratches to the metal housing. It comes with the original box although the foam insert has been misplaced so I shall pack it carefully with bubble wrap. The power lead will also be included. Der abgebildete Kopfhörer gehört nicht zum Angebot) Spezifikationen siehe unten Ich gestalte meinen Hörplatz um und trenne mich schweren Herzens von meinem geliebten Kopfhörerverstärker. Das stylische Gehäuse mit den markanten, seitlichen Kühlkörpern (ja, der Class-A-Verstärker wird recht warm) wurde von der Firma Designworks in Kalifornien, einer BMW-Tochter, entworfen. Das Gerät ist ungeheuer wertig; es macht geradezu Freude, am satt arbeitenden Lautstärkeregler zu drehen. Ich schätze, es war für Audeze einfach zu teuer, dieses feine Stück Technik auf Dauer zu produzieren, so dass man den Deckard heute nicht mehr neu kaufen kann. Dieser ungewöhnlich musikalische Verstärker verfügt über eine single-ended Class-A-Ausgangsstufe mit ausgezeichneten Dämpfungseigenschaften, die Kraft im Überfluss liefert und alle, auch sehr anspruchsvolle Kopfhörer antreibt; schließlich wurde sie für die leistungshungrigen planar-magnetischen Membranen der Audeze-LCD-Serie entwickelt. Darum sind mit diesem Verstärker stundenlange, absolut ermüdungsfreie Hörsitzungen möglich. Genau genommen bekommt man nie genug davon. Die interne DAC-Sektion basiert auf dem TI Burr Brown PCM5102A DAC Chip - und auch hier haben die Audeze-Ingenieure ganze Arbeit geleistet. Obwohl man den internen DAC abschalten und nur die analoge Sektion des Deckard verwenden kann, bin ich immer wieder zum digitalen Eingang zurückgekehrt: Eine Zeitlang habe ich einen Chord Qutest DAC angeschlossen, aber der Deckard-eigene DAC klingt einfach musikalischer. Auch ein Marantz HD-DAC1 ging nach der ersten Runde geschlagen vom Platz, als er gegen meinen Deckard antreten musste. Da der Deckard außer der 6.3mm-Kopfhörerbuchse auch einen analogen Cinch / RCA-Ausgang aufweist, können Sie ihn auch als Vorverstärker an Aktivlautsprecher oder einen Leistungsverstärker anschließen. Er verfügt allerdings über keine Fernbedienung. Als Privatverkäufer kann ich keine Sachmängelhaftung übernehmen; auch eine Rücknahme ist ausgeschlossen. Selling my Class A Audeze head amp as i have upgraded. Comes with original box (cant find inner packaging but will pack well.) & power cable. Have used it for the last 2 years as a daily amp so does have some scratches on the bottom & top of the full metal chassis. Since this amp is a class A amp it gets very warm when left on / being used, due to the design the amp itself is the heatsink so please be careful.
