Pair of Wharfedale Dovedale 3 speakers in teak. Some light scuffs and scratches, but condition otherwise good. See photos. Size: H: 24 x W: 14 x D: 12. Weight: ca. 20 kg, apparently. Good working order, lovely sound. Fronts have been damaged through removal, but could be repaired or simply pinned into position. Sample recording (on my phone so dont expect top quality). Pair of Crossovers from wharfedale Dovedale SP speakers. Made by pressac. These Crossovers were used in many of the Wharfedale Leak and Rank brands . Similar Crossovers in all the Wharfedale 3 way speakers of the 70s. These were the dovedale SP with 4 inch white perforated cone mid. Purple mylar tweeter and twin 6.5 inch white cone Bextrine bass units.

Offered here is a superb pair of Dynatron LS4038 Speakers Vintage 1970s Large! Dovedale 3 Internals.Superb Sound. 57cm high, 36cm wide, and 30cm deep. I have tested these speakers through my bang & Olufsen amplifier, and they sound superb. I have treated the cabinets to a coat of wood stain to rejuvenate them , as they were a bit tired looking when I acquired them. However ,there is one scratch visible on the top ( see photo). You can hear them on YouTube. Search: Dynatron LS4038 Bobpm45 The video was taken using my phone, and I can assure you they sound miles better in reality. They have screw connectors on the back , one plus , one negative. They are mounted on 1 high plinths. They weigh in at 18.5kg each ! So collection only please. Here is a pair of handbuilt Wharfedale Unit 5 Loudspeakers I believe the unit 5 used the same drive units as the dovedale 3 but in kit form to build your own cabinets. These cabinets are actually quite well built, some scratches and marks to the veneer as to be expected with age now. Due to size and weight these are for collection only from dy8 where they can be demonstrated working. Please study the photos and any questions dont hesitate to ask
