We have a preowned in excellent condition Vintage Radio Shack DX-398 Shortwave Radio Synthesized Receiver. It comes with original carrying case. The battery compartment has evidence that batteries did leak in there at one time but it still works fine with batteries. The radio is in excellent working condition other than the minor wear in the battery compartment.

I have been informed that the unit has a, faulty/blown speaker.

The backlight works but it’s dim and the antenna extends but is not tight. The battery connections have wear but just need a cleaning (everything is in working condition) just needs some TLC.
