For sale is a nice early example of the Mullard ECC83 with long anode plates and square getter. This example has fairly good print with all writing still legible and only minor rubbing. Coded MC1 and B7B, this valve was manufactured in the Mullard Blackburn factory in February 1957. This valve has been AVO tested on a recently calibrated 2 panel tester, a very close match between the two triode sections with the following results: A1: just above 1.6mA/V A2: just above 1.6mA/V AVO data lists at 1.6mA/V I have also listened to this valve on a setup which amplifies the ECC83 sections by 400x, this allows me to listen deep within the valve for any noises that could get worse and make themselves apparent later in use. This valve is free from any noise and sounds excellent. Overall a used but great working example of this early Mullard ECC83. Item will be well packaged for postage, offers are welcome.
