SAS is a record needle that realizes the antinomy condition that the line contact between the sound groove and the needle tip is realized by the special tip shape, and at the same time, the friction between the sound groove and the needle tip is reduced. It has excellent treble and bass reproducibility, and has a long life of about 500 hours. SAS uses carefully selected single crystals of natural diamonds. A master disc is required for the production of analog records, but the master disc is cut by a dedicated lathe. The tips of the SAS series are laser-cut to imitate the needle tip of the cutting lathe. As a result, the SAS chip reaches the deepest part of the sound groove and picks up sounds that cannot be picked up by ordinary needles.
