The first time I heard them I realized they were special. Once I got them into my listening space, and dialed in, my joy grew to overflowing! Don’t let their size fool you, these speakers are breathtaking. Their resolution, versatility, naturalness, imaging, vocal reproduction and non-fatiguing musical reproduction have kept up listening well into the late night/ early morning many, many times. I listen to many varied musical genres (World Music to Classical). I am critical of jazz (acoustic & electric), female vocal and chamber music. These speakers left me startled at their capabilities to handle these genres on more occasions than I can count Driving them with a 25 W tube amp… heaven. They are in nearly perfect condition, except for a couple very light scratches on the side of one cabinet (invisible except under a directed bright light, yet is the reason for the low selling price), and a missing lacquer spot smaller than the size of a rice grain, that was there when they first came out of the box. The grilles are included (the frames need to be refurbished as they are fading and fine dust is falling off). Von den Chassis bis zum Schaumstoff alles von Falcon Acoustics. Die Hochtöner sind allerdings originale KEF T27. NOS Ware, nicht mehr erhältlich! Das macht den Lautsprecher aus meiner Sicht besonders attraktiv. Die WBT Anschlüsse sind ebenfalls als ein Extra in mein Bauvorhaben eingeflossen. Die Gehäuse habe ich vom Fachmann anfertigen lassen. Die Lackierung in Hochglanz ebenfalls. Alle Bauteile haben zusammen 1770 Euro gekostet. Rechnungen von Falcon Acoustics von 2023 sind vorhanden. Die LS spielen fantastisch. Im Vergleich zu meinen Harbeth P3 lösen die Falcon höher und sanfter auf. Zudem machen die LS mehr Druck und präsentieren eine größere Bühne. Falcon Acoustics Kit 15 Ohm BBC LS3/5a. Supplied in new cabinets. These were built as Kit from Falcon during lockdown....The cabinets are new, the correct plywood, beech buttons, dedsheetdamping, and foam. I replaced the original kit cabinets as the previous owner made a bit of a hash of the veneer. I still have the original Falcon cabinets if you fancy a project and am happy to supply them FOC IF you are collecting. They look and sound fantastic. The grills are a bit ropy tbh, the guy who made them didnt have a staple gun that worked and it shows when you take them off. When in place theyre OK but if I weas keeping them Id replace them. The SP1003 are in great condition although are from separateyears 75 and 77.... The T27s are sounding great, and a pair when bought. The values were sent to Falcon when I ordered thecrossovers. All in all, they are not Rogers, but they sound amazing ....Sad to be parting with them, but I have finally decided to change to Harbeths P3ESR XDs. Offers below starting bid will be ignored. Hi and welcome to my listing for these very well made Kef Constructor Series CS1 speakers. Cosmetically these speakers have been professionally built by a bespoke carpenter. The speakers are bonstucted from birch plywood with generous real wood veneer. The speakers utalise Kef Constructor B110 bass drivers and T27 tweeters.. Crossover are from Falcon Acoustics (see internal photograph) and cabinets have been filled with long fibre wool. These small speakers sound absolutely fabulous, full stop. The design is based around the LS3/5a using the exact same matched drivers, however with slightly larger cabinet dimensions. Bi-Wiring facility gives a large improvement with tge right front end and amplification. I also have some matching Partington super dreadnought stands which give a great foundation. Postage will be slightly higher than normal to allow insurance and will be packed. Collection also welcome from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
