Offered is a very nice hi fidelity Goodmans Axiom 150 Mk2 --10 inch speaker in a custom made veneered cabinet.Built for me in the 70s--the speaker is mounted high in the cabinet-the cabinet is built of 3/4 inch particle board--veneered and trimmed with bleached sycamore The cabinet is lined with 1 inch thick sound absorbing felt--the rear panel has a 9 x9 Acoustic Resistance Unit built in-and the cabinet is 36 inches tall by 16 inches deep.Despite its age the speaker (for domestic reasons (the family couldnt stand the bass response)) has only seen 20 to 30 hours of use,and as such is in near mint condition.Speaker responds to a 3 volt battery..Cannot separate.

Goodmans Axiom 10 Full Range Driver in Plywood Cabinet Overall Good Used Condition.Cabinet constructed form 20mm ply which looks to be based on Goodmans recommended cabinet design.Sounds good and ideal for a low power mono setup.Other similar drivers listed so could be made into a pair.Voice Coil DCR in last photo. Collection only as it is too bulky to pack.

I assume the amps were based on the VOX AC10. The speakers were mounted on matching record cabinets and the whole thing sounded fantastic. As you can see the inside is in excellent condition. Cabinets dimensions 70x42x26cm (271/2x17x10 inches) It came into my ownership when they moved and he upgraded to a QUAD/KEF/Thorens system. The speakers still sound fantastic no buzzes or rattles I could here. The cabinets are marked but could easily be polished and made almost pristine. I only knew of one other pair and I suspect this is the only pair still existing. Ive got nowhere to put them as Ive my HiFi to a smallish room otherwise I wouldnt sell. Goodmans Axiom 10 Full Range Driver with Original Handbook Sheet, Perfect Working Order In very good condition for its age, please zoom-in on all the photos If youre looking at this speaker driver you probably know all about it already but for anyone that doesnt... The Axiom 10 is a very high quality full range High Fidelity speaker - it produces bass, midrange and treble up to 15khz which is about the highest frequency a 30yrs+ person can hear (it reduces with age), so can be used in a cabinet on its own The magnet material was a first for Goodmans, being made of Feroba II, a highly efficient anisotropic sintered material giving a flux density of 13,500 Gauss and a total flux of 53,000 Maxwells ... Im not an expert but I believe these specs are pretty darn good!
