I have not removed the various boxes from the main box, only peeked inside to see if it looked ok. I cant tell if all the parts are there. These are old kits that I purchased over the last 30 years or so. Some were purchased new, and some from hamfests and on ebay. The starting prices are $50 and are sold as-is for those reasons. This Heathkit VFO is in pretty good cosmetic condition for its age. The cabinet has some scuffs and scratches on it, but the front panel is in really great shape. All controls turn smoothly and there is no play in the VFO mechanism. We dont have a working radio to test it with and its believed to have sat idle for a long time before we acquired it, so its being sold 100% as-is. Heathkit GR-64 Shortwave Ham Radio Receiver Parts Not Working.

A nice looking HEATHKIT SB-644A REMOTE VFO. Untested.

It works. I searched through the bands. Heard all kinds of noises. I picked up music and talk on AM band. There was always background noise and static. The needle on the right jumped around when I turned the BFO knob and sometimes as I dialed through the bands. On bands other than AM I did get variations of noise but no voices. Sold as is as pictured. Please ask any questions before making offers or purchasing. We picked up some other vintage electronic pieces with this. Check out our other listings.
