I also sell cliff jack sockets that go with these (see my other listings) Perfect if your prized vintage cab has a non original jack socket!

1970/71 50w partridge valve mains transformer.This is fully functional and was taken from a 50w soundcity combo that was broken for spares. Here we have 4x Hiwatt spec fane speakers from 1974These are not a matched quad and are in fact 2 matching pairs, these came out of 2x Hiwatt combos that I used to own that were broken for spares.So the top two are a matched pair(with no logos) and the bottom two are a matched pair(with fane logos)The top two have some stress cracks and one of the speakers has one small tear(pictured).6441 cone codes and the model number is 122231The bottom pair are in great condition have different cone numbers 010 001 and 6439 respectively and the model number is 122620All the cones move feel and have no rub or cone cry.I am of the opinion that all the cones are the same, as they have the same dust caps, ridges and colour(1974 was a wierd year for speaker codes in the U.K. )I’m guessing that the 6441 and 6439 are the same code, 6 being the cone type, 4 the year(1974) and the last two digits being the week of the cone manufacture ie week 41 and week 39, that’s just an educated guess on my part though.I have had these in one of my recording cabs for the past few months, they do sound great but I seem to have too many speakers (a nice problem to have I know)While they are not a matching quad, they do have the same ohmage, power handling and are from the same year.Once wired in they will be either 16 or 4 ohms @ 200 watts, so they can comfortable take a cranked 100w valve head.As such they sound very balanced in the same cab, I have factored in the stress cracks/tear in the price. BulginType SA1293 Mains Leadfor Vintage Marshall, Selmer Hiwatt etc Original mains lead professionally re-wired with cord grip / strain relief grommet and 5 amp fuse fitted to safety mains plug (insulated pins). Length of cable 2.9 metres Hard to find in safe condition, they’re not supposed to be used for 240volt thesedays. However, collectors of vintage amps do like to keep their kit original so this maybe the thing for you. This has been insulation tested with a Megger to 650V and also with a PAT safety tester (see pics) so if you choose to use it, it should give safe, reliableservice.
