Rank Audio RX-250A Rotel RX-200A Receiver Serviced Fully Working Free Delivery. Here we have a lovely little Rank Audio receiver, which is a re-badged Rotel RX-200A. The last couple of photos show how clean it is inside and a screenshot of the Rotel to show that they are the same. Its in very good condition for its age, but you might want to refinish the wooden cabinet if you wanted it to look 100%. Its absolutely fully working as it was serviced last year, nothing major just cleaned inside, dial lights replaced with led bulbs and all switches and pots cleaned. A few months later, the stereo lamp went, so that needs replacing. As it takes 5 pin din and 2 pin speaker inputs, Ive included some to get you up and running straight away. The speaker wire is not the best, but you can change that at a later date. I would say that the tuner needs a good aerial, but with a strong signal it sounds great. It has a quad switch on the back, but for that to work, it needs to receive an already decoded signal. All in all a very nice starter receiver to get you into vintage hifi. Will be very well packed and sent with DPD on a 24-hour delivery for free.

This is a fully serviced and workingdeck that plays sweetly as all these do.It records as it should which means it plays the recordings it makesat a slightly lower level but with full range.The heads are in VERY nice condition. You get those nice sounding 1960svintage transistors. The harmonics give it that natural, musical sound.(I personally have a near perfect TC-260 Ive been keeping back for my own use. Gotta play my old jazz tapes yakno.)A truly fine performing deck that Iam sure you will enjoy. This deck has my 2-year free-labor warranty.The deck does NOT have those RARE clippy type reel holders. Standard reel holdersdo not work on these.So for horizontal operation only.Includes copy of the owners manual. Service:This one was pretty straight forward.It was really clean and nice inside.Obviously stored with care.I cleaned up all the usual sticky old lube and oil.As usual, I had to tear everything down and remove each moving part for cleaning.The idlers then got my special treatment and are good.I adjusted the brakes.As always, I replace the motor phase/start capacitor.I oiled the motor & capstan bearings.Cleaned controls and switches. I aligned and verified the tape path. I then went thru the electronic alignment and it only needed a few tweaks.Plays & records great!Heads are great on this one. Cosmetics:Clean looking.A couple of scratches, sadly.Be sure to check the pictures.Other than that near perfect.Speed knob still has the silver insert.These often fall out.The meters look good and overall the condition of this deck is very nice for the vintage.The wooden box is in great shape, too.Be sure to mouse/zoom over the pics.
