International post is now through ebays GSP ONLY to simplify customs etc following the UK/EU departure. DO I ACTUALLY NEED A NEW TWEETER ? Firstly it is important to know exactly what part of your speaker has failed! If a tweeter or woofer is not working, first check your bi-wire links (If using them) Then substitute the non working drive to the same position on the working speaker, making sure the speaker is NOT connected to any amplifier first! (Also at this time check and ensure the crimps/solder connections are well made) If the fault moves with the drive unit, then that drive would likely be the problem (Check it with a meter or get someone to test it for you if unsure!) If the fault stays with the same speaker/position, double check everything again And then remove the crossover to check the exact model number and revision (MAKE A NOTE (Or take a picture) of the connections before removing!) If unsure PLEASE PLEASE ask FIRST and I will do my best to help in any way I can Drive units are VERY delicate and mishandling WILL damage them! (And a rough check of size/shape!) Would also make a great unit for custom builds or replacements D.C.R Measured at just over 6 Ohms so would be an 8 Ohm NOMINAL unit (Going on DCR to known Nominal values of the 1000s I have measured to date!) Overall (Approx +/- 1mm) size:- 126mm X 88mm, Magnet diameter 70mm so cutout MINIMUM 70mm BUT see last picture as provision for terminals is needed! Fixings on square 63mm X 63mm, original fixings included, NOTE these are star (Torx) drive but a suitable size allen key or flat blade screwdriver will work if careful.
