This list listing is for a pair of JBL LX 600 floor standing three-way speakers in great working order and decent shape. They come equipped with titanium tweeters for cristal clear highs, rigid 5 drivers for concise midrange, and 10 inch woofers for deep satisfying bass. All drivers are in good condition and both woofers have been re-foamed by a restoration professional to ensure you continue to have wall rattling sound for many years to come. The speakers originally cost well over $600 a pair and have stood up to the test of time. They are fairly easy to drive with any quality amplifier or receiver unit so you have lots of options to integrate these into your stereo or home theater system. Please watch the video which shows it in play. However, some of the controls (volume, balance, tone, etc) are quite unstable, making cracking noise, and may cut signal off when adjusting. These switches are quite old and need service. The video shows the preamp played with balanced channels. Again, these two channels can get out balance if we adjust the tone or volume or something. Please take this into consideration. Also, I believe all lights are burnt, as I dont see anything light up. According to my understanding, the preamp is original form; no mods or alterations. Physical condition is good for the age. Typical wear and scratches due to use. Nothing nasty I can talk about. The wood case is in good shape too. Many of the slider handles (knobs) can be removed easily from the slider switch. I think they are just a bit too loose. The sale only includes the preamp shown in pictures; no manual, box, or any other accessories. Runs on 120V AC. I pack very well and ship worldwide. I welcome local cash transaction.
