Top end S-VHS player that needs a good home that has been loved, stored and now needs to be used as this cannot just sit. The PLAY, F/F, RR and ALL switches to functions to lights work as do the peak VU meter accurately. ALL rear Jacks look new. The fast forward and the rewind are not as fast as I remember but do not slack nor deviate. They keep the same speed after 10 tries both ways...all the same. Tested for hours w/ several tapes on play etc. It has S-VHS, HQ (remember that?), Digital Capability, the VHS Index System (another forgotten feature), Hi-Fi audio with separate volume record control sliders (a very nice feature back in the 80s), Digital Freeze, Multi-Screen Digital Freeze, Digital Strobe (Changes frozen image in sequence at 3 different speeds), Multi-Screen Digital Strobe, Picture in Picture, Digital Mosaic, Digital Solarization, Digital Zoom (of a portion or all of the image), Multi-Screen Channel Scan (Scans selected channels and puts a freeze frame of each in a window), Multi-Screen Intro Search (scans all channels and displays a freeze frame from each channel in a 16 window grid, auto Recording of a Multiscreen Intro search image (You fast forward a tape, and are presented with a 16 image snapshot of different portions of the tape. You can then go right to the section of tape you select (kind of like DVD scenes!!), Digital Enhanced 5 step variable slow motion and 5 step variable fast motion playback, Auto-Titler, flying erase heads, Audio dubbing (another nice feature), Peak hold VU meters for the audio recording levels (Stereo), Headphone Jack.
