JVC Vintage Radio Cassette Recorder. A nice portable boombox from the 1980s for the office, home, or simply for decoration, with the benefit of being serviced. The tape works perfectly in all directions, and the FM radio is clear. I have replaced the cassette belt, cleaned the head, capstan, pinch roller and controls. The battery terminals are clean, and the unit has been tested on mains and batteries (not supplied). There are stereo external mic inputs, and headphones out for private listening. I picked up lots of clear stations on the FM radio. It also has MW and LW, but theres hardly anything broadcast there now, plus the switch sometimes needs a gentle wiggle to lock in to these (the normal FM radio works perfectly though). The aerial is original and intact, including the tip. It is a vintage item, so there are of course age-related marks, faded chrome, etc - but it is in nice condition for its vintage, to be fair, with original knobs, cassette door sticker etc - please see the photos for condition, as they were taken on the day of the listing.
