This is a vintage KD-1500 turntable by Trio (later became Kenwood) It is a semi automatic, in that it is lever operated to begin playback and lifts automatically at the end of a record to cease playback, but tonearm movements and positioning are mostly your own doing. It is in good general condition, a few marks here and there but very minor, please study the photos as part of the sales description. Sadly the perspex lid has gone astray, but dust covers are available pretty cheaply, and occasionally even original ones crop up on ebay too if it bothers you and you need one. Following a thorough service, the functions are all spot on, cueing of the tonearm up and down, the auto lift is quick to operate, speed is good and stable, and thanks to a fresh, quality cartridge and stylus the playback is lovely audio too. A very nice vintage way back into your vinyl collection, without breaking the bank! This can be fully demonstrated upon collection from Arnold, Nottingham (O7875749472) Alternatively, if collection in person is a complete impossibility, you can also enquire about a door to door personal delivery, by negotiation prior to any bidding or buying, or you could book your own collection with a courier, friend or colleague etc, so long as you accept the responsibility for its safety and insurance, ill package it up as best i can for transit. Questo va restaurato, lo merita, secondo me. Lo avrei fatto se avessi avuto tempo. Inizio subito con quello che manca: shell e testina, il resto cè tutto, di seguito i dettagli. La cover e le cerniere non sono originali ma sono di recupero e sono funzionali; la cover è molto rigata/opaca ma assolutamente integra; i piedi anti vibrazioni non sono i suoi, recuperati da un altro modello Kenwood, ma ben si adattano, sono in buone condizioni e assolvono alla funzione. Il tappetino e il contrappeso non sono originali ma funzionano egregiamente allo scopo: segnalo il pomello di destra (serve per acceso/spento e comanda la discesa del braccio) non originale ma adattato, recuperato altrove, perfettamente funzionale allo scopo. Dire che il mobile è lurido è volergli fare un complimento (io non riesco a capire dove lo possono avere conservato), ma è comunque integro, non presenta rotture e cè anche il logo. Segnalo che le cerniere presenti non sono identiche (leggermente diverse ma, praticamente, indistinguibili) in ogni caso funzionali. Spero di essermi ricordato di tutto, ora veniamo al lato buono: il giradischi è perfettamente funzionale, è di ottima fattura, molto pesante, ha un motore molto robusto, come non se ne vedono più (un ottimo Fujiya, indistruttibili), il meccanismo di auto stop funziona perfettamente (solo auto lift con spegnimento del motore), la velocità è precisa e regolare, il braccio, anche se veramente sudicio, è saldo, non presenta giochi, il peso antiskating (originale) cè, e traccia perfettamente (ho montato una testina, una che ho a disposizione, per provarlo e si sente veramente bene, nessun ronzio, molto silenzioso); i cavi sono quelli originali (sia rete 220V che RCA+GND con ancora presente la sua forcellina metallica originale). Insomma va assolutamente restaurato, anche perchè, chi lo farà, dovrà solo preoccuparsi del lato estetico; dal lato funzionale va già bene così: ho lubrificato il perno e montato una cinghia nuova (non originale) Tutti gli oggetti da me proposti sono testati, cerco di descrivere il meglio possibile quali sono state le prove da me effettuate e i risultati. Personalmente cerco di fare il massimo per descrivere l oggetto nello stato in cui trova, nei limiti della piattaforma faccio le foto per evidenziare (oltre le parole) i difetti, lievi o gravi che siano allo stato attuale (con i limiti della mia capacità fotografiche, oltre che dei mezzi a disposizione), se mi chiedete informazioni e foto ve le fornisco senza problemi, faccio di tutto affinché vi arrivi nelle condizioni che ho descritto. Trio KD-1500 Turntable in a very good condition. Audio Technica AT-95 with the 3410 / 3451 conical stylus tracking at 2grams. Plinth unmarked. Dust cover does have a number of digs and one crack at the left hinge. Drilled to stop the crack getting any bigger. New belt, new interconnect cable and earth ground wire. Counter weight will be removed for transport. The transport screws are in place. Will be well packaged.
