If you are looking for one of these little monsters, this is the one you want. It was sent to Krell in June of 23, and has had all capacitors replaced. It has been cleaned, tested and verified as meeting original specifications. There was a recall on some of these for a potential overheating problem. That recall has also been done. This unit is as close as you can come to new. Beautiful cosmetic condition and now ready for another 12 to 15 years of trouble-free service. Don’t be fooled by the others listed. Their capacitors are long past designed service life, and need to be replaced. I have done the upgrades and paid the freight. This amp has plenty of power, and is very detailed. You will not be disappointed with this one. This amp is adult owned and has been meticulously maintained. There is a small mark on the case from shipping, but otherwise, is pristine. Sorry, the original owner did not retain the original packing material when I purchased it. This is a very powerful amplifier, rated @ 250 watts/channel into 8 ohms; 500 watts/channel into 4 ohms in stereo mode, and 1000 watts into 8 ohms bridged mono mode. It is a dual mono design, fully complimentary and balanced from input to output. The input/driver stage is class A. The output stage is class AB using proprietary output devices created by Motorola exclusively for Krell.
