In the high end space, Krell needs no introduction. I purchased the 5 channel 1500 watt amplifier new from an authorized dealer in Boston. I no longer need it. The amp produces an absolutely amazing life like sound and in great condition as the pictures show. One channel does not work so the amp has been running at 375 watts per channel. The 5 channel can be repaired at Krell and the prices reflects it. I have been using it as a 4 channel amp and truly enjoyed it. The amp is a beast and weights 125 lb. This is a beautiful silver, 5 channel in excellent condition amplifier upgradeable to 7 channel. A great piece to start your home theater. This amp pairs perfectly with the S-1200 and S1200U surround sound processor. This is a class A amplifier which has the highest sound fidelity giving you the option to use as a 2 channel for music enjoyment. It was sent in for service to Krell around 2013 or 2014, it was tested upon arrival and working according to manufacturers specs. The amplifier was then put back into the manufacturers box till date. While being serviced there were two small marks about the size of the head of a pin done to one side panel, but in my opinion they are not noticeable unless you use a magnifier. To correct the issue the manufacturer mailed me two side panels that are easy to change and will be shipped as well, bringing the condition to excellent.
