VINTAGE LEAK 2060 SPEAKERS Tested and working Used condition with some age related marks. The cases have wear to the the corners and edges - I have photographed a couple of examples. One of the coves has a broken clip. Expensive shipping due to weight and size. Collection is welcome from Hove.

pair of vintage leak 1970,s speakers, model n0-2060 (think known as the sandwich speakers?). selling these as spares/repair as only 1 of them is in working order. they are a 3 way speaker system 4-8ohms. 50 watts (din 45500). made by h.j. leak & co ltd, idle, bradford, west yorks. they are the 600 floor standing speakers, measuring 38cmx33cmx65cm and are very heavy. both the dust covers are present, but need tidying up. these can sell for good money fully restored. the speaker not working needs 1x= tweeter is open circuit(needs replacing). 2=the base is open circuit(needs replacing). 3=the mid-range is tight and solid(so needs replacing). the cabinets are in good condition, but do need sanding/re-varnishing. you may be in the same situation as me, and have a pair, with just one working, or may want to take them on as a project. due to the mass and weight, they are collection only, however i will consider delivery in the leeds area, but will want small fee to cover fuel. if you have the 3- tweeter/base/mid range speakers in good working condition i would be interested in buying them!!!.

LEAK 2060 sandwich 3 vie vintage hi-end (tipo AR RCF JBL). LEAK 2060 classico 3 vie di fascia alta del famoso costruttore inglese, conosciuto in tutto il mondo per i suoi ampli valvolari e i diffusori della serie sandwich come il 2060. Caratterizzato da un woofer da ben 30cm in cassa chiusa realizzata con particolare attenzione per evitare risonanze indesiderate. Suono ricco e dinamico come i diffusori di un tempo, molto più coinvolgente dei compatti diffusori moderni. Lo vendo per eccesso di materiale audio e per ovvie ragioni di spazio, funziona perfettamente (ho un video per cautela personale) ma avendo subito vari spostamenti in circa 50 anni il mobile è strutturalmente perfetto ma esteticamente in condizioni discrete. Dato il peso di ben 23Kg per singolo diffusore preferirei non spedire. No scambi, no permute.
