TL12 plus amplifier untested appears to be complete minus the valves, but untested , the preamp no valves or knobs, or input sockets.

Leak Varislope Mono. The two EF86 valves are new Zaerix and have had very little use. The volume control has been disconnected, as it tends to load the output unnecessarily if the output is taken from the “record out” socket. However, the control is original and the mains switch remains connected to the socket at the rear. The lamp works. To enable use with a stereo turntable and amplifier, the sockets adjacent to the “pickup” and “record out” sockets have been disconnected and connected to these sockets. This avoids the need to use an external adapter. The main smoothing capacitor has been uprated and all of the capacitors which are likely to become problematic have been replaced. It is very useful for playing mono records, of course. It could easily be restored to its original wiring - all of the necessary components remain in place.

I never connected to power myself but it was carefully checked by the professional. As per professional: the main tx and output transformers appear to be ok. With all the valves fitted except the GZ34 rectifier all is fine, the filaments all work and the valves all heat up. However when the GZ34 rectifier is inserted it blows the mains fuse with about 3 seconds. I swapped it out for another GZ34 I have, but it still does the same, which suggests there is a fault somewhere. The problem is almost certainly connected with the high voltage power supply, and is likely to be either the main psu capacitors or the choke but I didnt go further as it would require disassembly of parts of the inside, and it would no longer look original, which would spoil it for some potential customers if he just wants to move it on. All parts are still in the original condition, nothing was removed or dismounted. I decided to sell it to someone who like to repair himself or keep original.Any questions please ask.Please study pictures for overall condition. Per tutti gli appassionati del HYFY,vendesi coppia di preamplificatori mono valvolari LEAK VARYSLOPE III in buonissime condizioni.Fino allanno scorso usati con gran soddisfazione.Sicuramente consiglio a chi vorra aggiudicarseli una sostituzione dei condensatori in special modo quelli elettrolitici, per poterli riportare alla massima efficenza .I pannelli anteriori sono perfetti, lunica pecca una manopola non originale ma molto simile alloriginale (si è deteriorata in maniera definitiva )Allinterno valvole Mullard (detto tutto ).Il suono, fino a quando sono stati usati ,( in collegamento con ampli LEAK 20 )era particolarmente dettagliato e finissimo senza alterazioni su gamma bassa media alta ,insomma suono tipico inglese .Venduti con la formula visto e piaciuto
