Little Dot mk ii 2 Headphone Valve Tube Amplifier Hifi, Mint. Boxed, Instructions. Used for about 2 hours before moving house and had no time to enjoy it since. These tubes can be substituted as upgrade tubes for the stock EF95 on the Little Dot MkII / MkIII/ MkIV and Darkvoice 332 and Yaqin headphone amplifiers. These tubes have gray plates and halo getters. They have matching 1973 date codes. These were tested on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/B tube tester. They have been tested for shorts, gas, and transconductance. The tubes test very strong with readings of ?38. Minimum is 22.All tubes are tested on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/B or on my calibrated Hickok 539C. All of these tubes have been tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, leakage and life. Little Dot Mark 2 MK II++ Tube / valve Headphone Amp and Pre-amp. Good working order with a couple of mods (read on). Thinning out my headphone amp collection so this little beauty has to go. Modifications include replacing the two smaller valves with Mullard items (see last picture). I also drilled lots of holes in the casing to try and reduce the operating temperature. Most of these holes are out of sight in the bottom of the case. The holes are smaller than tiny finger size so no worries there. It still runs a bit on the hot side but hey ho, all valve equipment does!! The case was originally black but over time it has faded to a rather fetching bronze colour. Lovely smooth but detailed analogue sound. Just the thing to smooth out the digital nasties in your modern source or connect to a pure analogue source for a listening delight. As the item is heavy and delicate I would prefer collection only from SG4 8EQ postcode. I will consider posting in the original box but this would be at your own risk. Little Dot Mark 2 mk II. Tube / valve headphone amp - EXCELLENT CONDITION. Been using this with a set of Audeze and AKG Headphones. Sounds excellent but like with any valve amp needs a minute or two to fully warm up. I’ve used the RCA’s out the back to boost some of my vintage kit. Note this does not act as a phono stage for record players, you’ll need one of these first before plugging into the tube amp unless your player has it built in. Total usage has been low as I only used it for occasional listening. Any questions give me a shout.

The voltage NEEDS to be 6.3 and 12.6. You can calibrate a vintage tube tester all you want. If the heater voltage is not right, you will NEVER get the right gm value. I have customers complain that their tubes are not the same as what I see on my tester. They say they have a calibrated tube tester. I have 40 tube testers. On all of them I have an outside regulated DC power supply that feeds the tube tester the correct heater voltage. 7. I dont check each and every tube for noise or tone.
