I offer for sale a pair of vintage step-up Moving Coil Phono input transformers from famous German manufacture Lorenz AG - type 31H37 produced in end of 40s. These transformers are in a very good condition according of the age, and work perfect. They are highly wanted, as so called big housing step-up input transformers. The dimension of the MU-Metal cans is: - 57 mm the diameter, and the height is about 60 mm including the fixing stripe. These transformers are perfect suitable as MC step-up input transformers for all phono pre-amplifiers with MM input. The DC - input resistance is 30 Ohm, and the DC - output resistance is 3 kOhm. The ratio is 1:30 with open output, and 1:20 with a load resistance about 50 kOhm (typically MM input resistance). The frequency response is 10 Hz to 20 kHz. The frequency transmissions rate is from 10 Hz to 15 kHz +/- 0dB, and with 20 kHz they have a naturally softly abatement about -2,5 dB. These transformers are perfect applicable for MC cartridges (pick-ups) with low output impedance from 5 to 25 Ohms as for sample the Neumann DST 62, EMT-TSD 15, Ortofon SPUs or other CM-cartridges with low and high output impedance.On the photo no. 4 and 5 are showed two pairs (4 pieces), but for sale ist one pair only.
