Die Drosseln waren in der Heizversorgung von 801A Trioden verbaut, funktionieren aber z.B. auch als Eingangsdrosseln für das Netzteil einer Class-A Transistorendstufe a la Hiraga oder Pass.Eine der Drosseln hat an der Flanke minimale Pattexspuren.
