The PD441 has the same design as the PD444, and is compact in size by being compatible with one standard tonearm. The drive unit uses a quartz lock type direct drive system. The quartz lock system suppresses disturbance load fluctuations in the DC range and below 1Hz, and also suppresses instantaneous drift and temperature drift. Additionally, in order to suppress disturbance load fluctuations in the relatively high frequency range of 5Hz to 10Hz or higher, which is beyond the reach of quartz control, it is necessary to utilize the flywheel effect of the turntable, but bearing life becomes an issue. To address this issue, we have adopted Luxs unique load-free spindle system. This method uses the magnetic force inside the motor to attract the rotor upward, canceling out the weight of the turntable. This reduces the load on the turntable on the bearing to about 1/5. The chassis uses a sandwich structure in which a high-density chipboard is sandwiched between two 3.2 mm steel plates, achieving a highly rigid structure that is difficult to resonate. The insulator uses a low fo two-stage braking insulator. This insulator is effective against both small amplitude vibrations that cause howling and large amplitude vibrations that tend to occur during player operation. A sliding arm base is used for the arm base, allowing for easy arm replacement and overhang adjustment. The arm base is a combination of a zinc die-cast base and an aluminum extrusion panel, and has a structure that slides on the arm base rail, and is fixed by lever operation. Equipped with a platter mat to improve adhesion to records and dump turntables. ??Operation/Appearance?- It works well and the turntable rotates.(This product is compatible with 50/60Hz.) -The rubber mat is soft and will not deteriorate or warp.-Buttons and switches work normally. -The power ON lamp and the lamp will light up when switching rotation.?There are some scratches and signs of use.However, there is no major damage and it is in good condition.(We are not experts, so we cannot confirm detailed settings or accuracy.
