Mordaunt Short Avant 904i HiFi Speakers These speakers sound superb to my ears with a lovely balanced sound - I’ve paired them with a Cambridge Audio A1 amp that I also have for sale As the pictures show, they are in excellent condition with a light oak/beech finish They’re bi-wireable so if your amp supports this, the main driver and tweeters can be driven separately. If you’re driving them as most of us do, the links are included (pictured) Spikes to the base isolate them from the floor to ensure the best quality sound Getting older, it’s time for me to have a thin out, hence the sale (which I’ll no doubt regret but hey, I’ll still have my trusty NAD3020 to fall back on) I’m happy to demonstrate these on collection. Mordaunt Short Avant 904i HiFi Speakers Excellent Condition Black 100WPurchased these speakers in 2008 (still have the original receipt) and they worked well for me for many years until I started using Sonos and these speakers became obsolete. The speakers are in good repair and I have always handled them with care. The look of speakers can be changed by removing the mesh or leaving it on. I still have the original stands as detailed in the last pictures which I did not use as these were placed on a cabinet in my house. Avant 904i is a two-way speaker system with bass-reflex. A 25-mm tweeter with aluminum dome is protected by metallic mesh. The diffuser of 133-mm MF/LF-unit is also made of aluminum. All drivers are magneto-shielded. The bass-reflex is placed on the back wall. The first-ordered filter is used in the speaker system. Dimensions:165 x 800 x 265mm (W x H x D)Weight:10kg / 22lbs
