Apart from a couple of very minor marks to the lid, it has little else in the way of imperfections. hard to find, especially in this condition. no remote included. For sale is my greatly enjoyed Musical Fidelity E10 vintage amplifier, in very fine condition as you can see. Ive done a few things to it, namely replaced the old main caps with new genuine Panasonic items, fitted new far higher quality binding posts, and also replaced the CD/PHONO input sockets as there was a crack in the body and one pin on the CD side was broken. The replacement part is brand new and made by the same supplier as for the factory, a perfect fit as shown. Along with this, Ive reflowed known areas where poor solder joints may occur, and made sure the main pots are clean and crackle free in use. As with all minimalist amps like this, there is no relay switching the speaker output on and off during a power cycle, so if the amplifier is turned off before you stop a cd for example, you will still hear audio for a couple of seconds as the caps drain. This is normal, and typical of this model in my experience. Of course, its counter intuitive to do things that way round anyway. If the source is stopped first, then it is totally silent. I doubt most would even mention it, but I like my buyers to be fully informed. Rated at a conservative and punchy 40 watts per channel RMS (remember, you need around 1 watt of power for 90db level with averagely sensitive speakers, so power really isnt everything) and possessing a particularly sweet phono stage, which I also replaced some caps in for long life, there are very few better looking, easier to use and just plain enjoyable amplifiers than this. Especially at this price. Complete with original manual, and IEC mains cable. Expert packing guaranteed, and shipped fully insured by UPS.
