All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.There is a dent on the top of the device as seen on photos 13 and 14.There are scratches on the front of the device and volume knob.I was able to power on the device with the included power cord.I was able to test the display on the device to work.The controls on the device work as intended. The volume knob will slide off very easily.With an in-house Xbox one and ARC tv I was able to test all of the HDMI inputs and outputs to work as intended, The HDMI port in the front of the device worked but had issues when testing.I was able to test RCA ports to work with an in-house VCR.I was able to test the FM to work with an in-house antenna.I was able to test the the audio out ports to work as intended.The Ethernet port is tested to work.The headphone port is tested to work.S-Video, XM, 12V Triggers, IR OUT, and Coaxial are all untested due to lack of resources. This is an NAD T187 preamp/processor in excellent physical and functional condition. I purchased this unit from ListenUp in Boulder, CO and also ordered the upgraded 4k MDC video switching module at that time. I have been using this unit basically as a stereo preamp with 4k video switching in my living room hifi system. If youre running a 4k media room/projector, or just want to add a 4k switching capable preamp to your stereo system this is your unit! I have an extra master remote, so the buyer will get 3 remotes with this purchase. If youve shopped pre/pros (let alone 4k ones), you know this is a bargain. These dont come up for sale often and youll notice that theres one other unit listed (without the 4k upgrade and sold for parts only) at over $1000.
