My NAD tuner/preamp died recently and isn’t worth having repaired so the remote which always functioned perfectly is up for sale. Good condition with no battery compartment issues at all.

Very powerful, high quality receiver/amplifier. Thoroughly cleaned & tested. Everything works as it should. Minor scrapes and scratches (see pics). Includes remote which also works well. I have a separate listing for a matching NAD 5100 CD player to go with it (see the last pic).

This is a very clean Nad 7100 receiver that sounds great when it works. The issue is with the power button. I have had this unit for about a year and used in my ebay storage/shop. I buy a good bit of vintage stereo equipment and will pick one to use as my system for a while until I find another one that I want to try out. I will then sell the one that I have been using. This one was working fine with great sound, I unhooked it and hooked up a different one. When I went to verify it worked before I listed it( as I always do), the power will not come on. The light on the front comes on showing it is getting power but the unit does not go from standby to on when the power button is pushed. When I first got this unit, it did the same thing. it starting working correctly after the power button wiggled a little and I had no more issues until now. I am selling this as is for parts/ repairs due to this issue. This item is not returnable. I am pricing this at a very low price for this brand/item. This item will be sold to US buyers only. Description: Vintage NAD 7100 Monitor Series Stereo Receiver with Original NAD Remote and AM/FM Parsec Antenna. One owner – unit was kept in a climate controlled environment since purchased new. It has been tested - please see detailed condition notes below, video and all images included as they are also part of the description. Feel free to ask any questions. Condition: Unit powers on and is in working condition as shown in the video included. However, please note that when the unit is turned on (under Channel A) the volume needs to be turned up for both left and right inputs to engage and work as they should – volume could then be adjusted to low/high setting as needed – (this is not very apparent in the video but needs to be adjusted often). Under Channel B, when the volume is turned up, only the right side works. Im not an expert but Im assuming both A & B Channels need a tune up/cleaned. Remote control is in great cosmetic condition, shows no corrosion in the battery compartment, has been tested and as shown in the video works as it should.
