This NAD C315BEE was buzzing on arrival due to a defective Main Capacitor. I upgraded both to Chemicon KMH series 105C rated caps. Many of the original JH branded Electrolytic Caps were also testing bad, so I upgraded the audio capacitors to Bipolar nichicon and ELNA, and I upgraded the Power Supply caps to mostly 105C rated nichicon, ELNA, etc. For added versatility, I have repurposed the (fixed line level) Tape Output RCA Jacks to be (variable level) Preamp Outputs suitable for a powered Subwoofer, external Power Amp, etc. Im also including a new 6-button learning remote programmed for Mute On/Off, Volume Up/Down, and 3 Input Selects DISC, CD, and AUX. I can reprogram as requested. Cosmetically, this unit is in excellent shape inside and out except for some dings on the top/side cover. Please see photos. Full refund within 60 days. Rated at 40 NAD watts per channel, the 45 Volt Main Rails and 10,000uF Main Caps provide plenty of IHF Power as well. While the reviewers are quite complimentary of this model, some have mentioned their desire for Preamp Outputs. VOILA!! It should be noted that the Standby Mode draws similar power and generates similar heat to the ON Mode. I recommend turning OFF the Main Switch on the Rear Panel when not in use.

As you would expect from a vintage Nad amplifier the design, build quality and choice of components is excellent. It has a built in MM/MC phono preamp so can easily be used with a vintage turntable. For peace of mind a 3 month return to base warranty is included. The metal front fascia is in good condition with all decals present. There is a scratch just to the right of the volume control. There are a few marks here and there to the original paint work top and sides of the metal cover but nothing bad. Please take time to check all the photos as they are considered to be part of the description. I have included photos of the inside of the amplifier and as you can see there are no signs of overheated/distressed components or bodged repairs. I doubt that this amplifier has had much use. The amplifier has been checked over, lightly serviced and given a clean bill of health by a audio service engineer who has been repairing / servicing audio equipment full time for the past 40 years. If needed once purchased free technical assistance would be available for this item by telephone. The volume, switches and controls work well. I will only accept cash on collection for this item.
