These are in super clean fantastic condition, no burned or cracked components. I feel they do not have a lot of time of them. I tested these in a Naim 110 amplifier with extraordinary results. Both channels were clean and clear with no hum, buzz, noise or distortion, sound quality was exceptional. I set bias to prescribed 36mA and ran the amplifier 24/7 a for 7 day time period. Naim NAP 180 power amplifier with Avondale Qudos boards and uprated capacitors  It has NCC220 Qudos boards and slightly uprated high quality power capacitors to 50v as recommended by Les at Avondale. It sounds truly awesome.

NAIM AUDIO SUPERLINE AIR PLUG - Resistive 453R - Metal Film Naim Resistive Load Z Plug in excellent condition. (Z version denotes use of the special Texas/Vishay Metal Film Resistors) If your looking at this you will know the purpose and how this is inserted into the rear socket of a Naim Superline mc Cartridge pre-amp to provide specific resistance load to the cartridge. They are basically Naim HighLine interconnect plugs fitted with a special internal resistance for left & right channels. They have the same construction and de-coupled pins but only four pins are actually fitted. Still fit the standard rear Superline 5pin socket though. There is much recommendation and advice on the Naim Forum but these 453R are generally regarded as optimum for Dynevector 20XL - XX2 - XV-1S - XV-1T Cartridges, no doubt suits many others too.. The current cost of these AirPlugs is £168 and now only available from Cymbiosis who assemble them with the Texas Z Metal Film Resistors on behalf of Naim Audio into the Naim AirPlug casings supplied by Naim. Pair of sequential s/n. 1749*** (2001) Avondale upgraded NAP 135 power amps.Excellent cosmetic condition (kept in an Isoblue rack) from a smoke free home. Delivered to Les at Avondale by myself and serviced/upgraded in Dec. 2012 (inc. NCC200 boards & Kendiel Caps). They have had a very easy life since the work was carried out as I was working abroad frequently. (often unplugged for many weeks at a time). Also, they have not been driven hard ie: rarely higher than 9 oclock on the 52 pre-amp volume control they were used with. The Avondale upgrade was, imo, a very worthwhile improvement that took an already iconic great design to a higher level. There is plenty of on-line info. on this modification route benefits and how much it costs to have done these days. They are being sold in the original boxes with an owners manual, 2 x XLR leads and a pair of non-OEM quality power cables specifically made up for me with 90 degree RS components IEC socket connecters and a 13 amp. multi-plug (which can accommodate two more power cables if required).
