Adcom GFP-750 - Audiophile Level Nelson Pass Designed Stereo Preamplifier Bought an Ayre K5xe mp, my system has been so upgraded, it has outgrown this overachieving preamplifier. Class A Stereophile magazine rated. Also comes with programmed aftermarket remote. Used it for volume control, not sure what else it will do as volume is all I need. I unplug my gear when not in use. This is for all three Adcom pieces First is the GFP - 565 Preamplifier which was Designed by Walt Jung and is a legendary preamp that is in perfect working condition and the original caps are in perfect working condition with absolutely no static in the controls and Ive owned it for 20 years and it needs nothing and has one of the best phono Preamplifiers Ive ever used Im also including the GFT 555 II tuner which matches the Preamplifier and Power Amplifier. And maybe the most underrated Amplifier Ive ever owned the GFA 535 which is the first generation that was designed by the legendary Nelson Pass . The claimed power is 60 wpc in 8ohms and 100 wpc in 4ohms but my speakers are very hard to drive and my previous Amplifier needed all of its 500wpc to push but miraculously this little amp makes them sound fantastic. Being used there are a couple of nicks but over all they in very good condition

Very nice piece. Overall very nice condition. It was in a working system hooked up when I received it. It is in working condition, but I have not personally tested every function and input. Superb Nelson Pass design based upon his Stasis amplifier design exemplified by Threshold Corporation. This is the PA5 rated at 100 watt per channel which is enough STASIS watts to drive any speaker, these even drive the Martin Logan ReQuest electrostatics that dip to just over 1 ohm, with no problems whatever. The sound is crystal clear and ethereal and has a very good bass rythm and drive. I am happy to demonstrate the amplifier driving Sonus Faber speakers.
