This unit is on a 19 inch rack panel and would be ideal for permanent installation or repeater station. The dummy slugs are used to protect the meter movement during transit. I tested the meter movement by varying it from zero to full scale slowly several times. This unit is very clean and the paint has a few very small minor nicks. It does have wear in the paint around where the 19 inch panel screws were previously used. I used a 100 W slug and my 100 W transceiver to test both positions forward and reflect and found no defects.
