Friend of mine picked this up at a thrift store. Upon use, the cassette deck and mechanism worked perfect. No digital or analog audio. Capacitors leaked over time and during power up and recent burn in. Many circuitboard traces were damaged. Pulled 3 boards and did a poor man’s recap job with generic caps to no success. Many solder traces were already ruined and I attempted to connect via a nightly project. Also found electrolytic liquid on the main board, but could not figure out where it was coming from but it’s been cleaned. Tape mechanism was working, great, everything from the other reverse to fast-forward to rewind. Non-functional whatsoever, I am including the boards I worked on, but they are not usable. Again, they are not usable or fixable.
