Ill confess I didnt risk using one of my overpriced audiophile LPs (not knowing the styluss wear), but I did have enough confidence in the styluss condition to play a relatively valuable promo LP. I used a digital microscope (one of those cheapies that work quite well) to take the magnified image of the stylus and cantilever. The cantilever is definitely straight and free of distortions (Ive seen ads for similar cartridges, but with bent or dented cantilevers). Im not knowledgeable enough about examining stylii under magnification, so I cant really give offer an expert assessment as to the wear or tear: Please bid with the understanding this phono cartridge is, to my knowledge, used. Wie gesagt nur den selbständigen Start mag er nicht mehr. Das hochwertige Ortofon TMC200 MC System klingt toll und verspricht noch viele Stunden Musikgenuss.
