Wie alle Pass-Endstufen arbeitet auch die X250.8 mit einem sehr mäßigen Dämpfungsfaktor von nur 150. Der Verzicht auf einen übermäßig hohen Dämpfungsfaktor erklärt den sehr erdigen, natürlichen Klang der Pass-Endstufen. Aber auch der breite Bereich, in dem die Leistungsstufen im Class-A-Modus laufen – der wurde auch bei der X250.8 noch einmal erheblich nach oben gesetzt.
