Der Philips befindet sich in einem absolut voll-funktionsfähigen Zustand. Das Gerät wurde vor kurzem fachmännisch revidiert und audiophil modifiziert (Gesamtaufwand: ca. 25 Arbeitsstunden): • Die CD-Schublade wurde gereinigt und leicht geschmiert, die Antreibsriemen wurden erneuert. Es wurden hochwertige Riemen von Black Reel eingesetzt. • Das CD-Laufwerk und der Laser wurden gereinigt und neu eingestellt. Die CD-Spindel wurde mit dünnflüssigem Silikonöl geölt. • Die kalte Lötstellen wurden geprüft und ggf. nachgelötet. • Die Front-Konsole wurde leicht geschmiert und fährt sehr leicht ein und aus. • Die Beleuchtung der Play-Taste wurde mit einer warmweißen LED wiederherstellt. • Die kritischen Sieb-Elkos im Netzteil wurden durch Premium-Elkos von ELNA und Panasonic mit erhöhter Kapazität ersetzt. • Alle Elkos auf der Laser-Platine wurden durch hochwertige vom Typ Panasonic FC and FR ersetzt. • Alle Elkos auf der Servo-, Decoder-, Display- und Kopfhörer-Platine wurden überprüft und ggf. durch hochwertige Elkos von ELNA, Panasonic und Nichicon ersetzt. • In den Ausgangsstufen wurden die Operationsverstärker durch vielgelobte OPA604 von Burr & Brown ersetzt. Die Koppel-Elkos wurden durch audiophile vom Typ Nichicon MUSE ES BP ersetzt. • Der obere Deckel wurde zusätzlich gegen Schwingungen gedämpft. • Um die Schwingungsdämpfung weiter zu verbessern, haben die Gerätefüße Kork-Auflagen erhalten. • Es wurde ein mehrstündiger Test durchgeführt. Das Tuning hat sich sehr gelohnt, nach den Modifikationen klingt der CD-Player noch lebendiger und wärmer. In Sachen Detailauflösung sucht der Philips seinesgleichen: man hört Passagen, die sonst kaum auffällig sind ... Das Laufwerk und der Laser sind in einem absoluten Top-Zustand: der Philips erkennt die CDs und CD-Rs innerhalb von 3-5 Sekunden und spielt sie absolut einwandfrei ab. Das Laufwerk ist kaum hörbar im Betrieb. Optisch: Absoluter Top-Zustand. Das Gerät hat fast keine Gebrauchsspuren. Condition: Technical: Excellent working condition. The Philips is in an absolutely fully-functional condition. The unit was recently professionally serviced and audiophile modified (total efforts: about 25 man-hours): • The CD tray was cleaned and slightly lubricated. The drive belts were renewed, we used high-quality belts by Black Reel; • The CD drive and the laser were cleaned and adjusted. The CD spindle was lubricated with low-viscosity silicone oil; • The cold solder joints were checked and resoldered; • The front console was slightly lubricated and retracts and extends very easily; • The Play button illumination was restored with a warm-white LED; • The critical smoothing electrolytic capacitors in the power supply were replaced by premium capacitors by ELNA and Panasonic with increased capacity; • All el. capacitors on the laser board were replaced with high-quality Panasonic FC and FR caps; • All el. caps on the servo, decoder, display and headphone boards were checked and, if necessary, replaced with high-quality caps by ELNA, Panasonic and Nichicon; • The operational amplifiers in the output stages were replaced by highly acclaimed Burr & Brown OPA604.
