This vintage Sansui SR-838 turntable. The direct drive system ensures accurate and stable rotation of your vinyl, while the Pickering XV-15 D1200 cartridge delivers high-quality sound. With speed settings for both 45 RPM and 33 RPM This came to us from a local estate it was in service this works and looks good it even has the original plastic protector where it says sansui and the selecting switches you can remove that if you wish the dust cover is crack free there are some scratches and scuffs we have not tried to polish it in any way leave that up to the new owner its really a nice turntable the stylus looks to be in good condition and works we are not audiophiles but we do know how to play a record were very communicative if you need any more pictures or have any questions of a particular area please ask We pack well and ship quickly we have shipped turntables ln the past we will remove the platen and that will be box separately as well as the stylus head We will include two transit screws for safe shipment you will need to remove those before you start playing it Please take a look at all the pictures i do see that the feet have springs but the rubber feet themselves are poor two of them are missing and the other two plastic is disintegrating i would replace the feet if i was the new owner shipping is more expensive than normal for this due to the time in the packing materials required the main unit will be double boxed and packed well we do not skimp on packing materials Please do your own due diligence if you want this unit we pack well and ship quickly with tracking insurance and signature confirmation at delivery Thank you Local pickup also welcome

Used Pickering XV-15 1200E Turntable Cartridge from the teardown of a Garrard GT55. No Stylus & Untested although I see no reason it should not work as it should.

Pickering XV-15/1200E Cartridge In Original Case w/ Genuine Pickering D750 Stylus - B This listing is for one used Pickering XV-15/1200E cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are very close & have a difference of less than 0.4%. The included stylus is a used, genuine Pickering D750. It is in excellent condition. The stylus has a .3 x .7 mil elliptical tip & the tracking force is ½ ~ 1½ grams. It is one step down from the originally included D1200 stylus with a .2 x .7 mil elliptical with a tracking force of ¾ ~ 1¼ grams. Also included is are the original plastic outer sleeve, metal container, plastic cartridge tray, spec/data sheet, unused warranty card, & the shown mounting hardware. Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & this combination has been visually checked, there are NO returns or refunds. This item will require an adults’ signature for delivery. All of the cartridge/stylus combinations I sell are sold AS IS - in working condition. I do not offer ANY type of refund, exchange, or return on these cartridge/stylus combinations. If you have an issue with sibilance, it probably means that the cartridge/stylus is not a good match for your tonearm. Not that there is anything defective with this cartridge or stylus. Note: The cantilever (the thin silver tube which the stylus tip is mounted to) is the fragile part of the stylus assembly. The stylus needs to be handled carefully. If the buyer breaks or bends the cantilever when un-packaging, inserting the stylus assembly into the cartridge, or handling the cartridge once the stylus is mounted, I will not be held responsible. This includes while mounting the cartridge to your headshell. It is best to mount your cartridge somewhat loosely first. Then install the stylus. Once the stylus is mounted into the cartridge, adjust the cartridge for the correct overhang for your particular turntable. If you are unfamiliar or inexperienced with installing, mounting, & adjusting cartridges/styli, please have an experienced professional do the installation for you.
