Pioneer SE-DRS3000C Digital Surround Headphone. Comes with original packaging, Japanese user manual, optical cable, 100V power adaptor and a suitable UK power adaptor. The headphone and receiver is in good cosmetic condition apart from the rubberised coating coming off the plastic parts. This issue is common for these headphones and I do prefer the gloss finish underneath, as the coating becomes sticky as it ages. With my first set I removed the coating with an alcohol solution, but on this set for sale most of the coating has come off already. Not much of the coating remains and can be removed if desired. Thicker genuine leather earpads have been fitted, which improves the bass performance and fit on the head. The sound is good as be expected from a high-end Pioneer product and with the Dolby surround effects engaged provide a large soundstage which seems to extend beyond the earcups. This is an imported Japanese domestic product, but is supplied with a suitable UK power adaptor. The battery performance on this unit is very strong lasting for hours. The battery holds its charge very well and after being stored in its packaging for about three months charged up to full charge in a couple of seconds once powered on. As the user manual is in Japanese I would not mine assisting answering question about its connection, setup and operation.
