Lower section of rear panel sub-assembly has corrosionon screws and internal struts and side of output panel.Initial faults: No sound on LHS and distorted sound on RHS.Action taken: Chassis & modular PSU dismantled & released from sleeve. Cleaned away carbon residuefrom PSU interior and fitted replacement long life 300Vac XY- rated, ceramic mains suppression capacitor.Removed corrosion from rear back plane assembly and fixings. Replaced corroded fixing screws. Signaloutput panel dismantled from back plane and corrosion cleaned away from outlet. Replaced corroded 4-pinDIN socket and fitted it to the outside of the panel for improved insertion depth.
