I feel quite a responsibility selling these, as they are quite frankly legendary. Quad ESL 2905 Speakers Pair. Selling due to a death in the family. Used regularly. Held to a good standard. Good working order.

Quad ESL 2905 full range Electrostatic loudspeakers in the more expensive optional Classique finish. They sound fantastic, especially with a valve amplifier, and are working perfectly. The fabric is unmarked and the magnetic connector covers are in place. The Quad logos on both speakers illuminate as they should. The ESLs include a custom cast plinth to significantly increase stability - photo 2. They fix to the original plinth using the original feet fixing holes, and the additional cast plinths then have gold adjustable spikes fitted. These add significant mass to the speakers, which were already quite heavy, lowering the centre of gravity and so stabilising the panel. The only blemish is a small scratch on the upper surface of the plinth at the rear of one speaker, this is shown on photo 7. I do not have the packing boxes, so collection (or delivery) will need to be arranged, with a suitably large vehicle. These are great speakers with a truly great musical presentation and I am only selling as I dont have the space to keep them. Nothing can touch them (in my opinion) at anything near this price.
